How much is this going to cost me?
Frank: Most of our clients choose to be represented on a contingent fee basis in a complex injury case. A contingent fee means that they have agreed to pay the attorneys a fee based on a percentage of what the attorneys can recover on their behalf. The contingent fee to the particular facts and circumstances of an individual case and the law firm pays all of the expenses associated with developing the case. If we are not successful in winning the case, the client will not owe us anything. We will not ask for reimbursement for the expenses, that's a risk we take when we decide to pursue the client.
Jeff: If we're successful in resolving the claim for you, then we will want to be reimbursed for our expenses out of the proceeds of the settlement.
