DePuy Hip Replacement Recall
Hip replacement implants made by the DePuy Orthopaedics unit of Johnson and Johnson have had a history of failures causing the Food and Drug Administration to look into the issue. DePuy has decided to recall two kinds of hip replacement products.
Springer-Lyle has actively pursued legal cases on behalf of hip-replacement recipients. Please read this article from The New York Times (August 26, 2010) which lists the recalled products and offers statistics on the 93,000 devices implanted worldwide.
If you are a hip replacement recipient and have any cause for alarm, please contact your doctor and contact the office of Springer-Lyle for help in determining if you could be eligible for compensation.
